About The Position

We’re looking for a Strategic Sourcer to develop and execute sourcing strategies that support organizational objectives while driving cost savings, mitigating risk, and ensuring supplier performance. This role manages end-to-end sourcing activities, including supplier identification, evaluation, negotiation, and relationship management, while helping to establish standardized sourcing processes and governance practices. The Strategic Sourcer also leverages data analytics, AI, and automation tools to improve spend visibility, enhance supplier assessments, streamline contract management, and enable more informed and efficient procurement decisions.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with CRM, ERP systems, and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient with sourcing and procurement platforms such as Coupa, SAP Ariba, Jaggaer, or similar systems
  • Experience driving procurement transformation, process improvement, and governance initiatives.
  • Familiarity with AI, automation, and digital tools used in procurement and sourcing
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent data analysis, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Must successfully complete a background check and pre-employment/random drug tests
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with project management and reporting tools preferred
  • CSCP, CPSM, or PMI certification
  • Experience sourcing materials in the power/energy or construction sector

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sourcing and category strategies that drive cost savings, mitigate risk, and support business objectives
  • Lead supplier selection, negotiations, contract management, and strategic supplier relationship development
  • Establish and continuously improve sourcing processes, procedures, and governance frameworks to ensure efficiency, compliance, and scalability
  • Analyze spend data to identify consolidation opportunities, supplier rationalization initiatives, and process improvements
  • Monitor and report on key procurement metrics, including cost savings, supplier performance, cycle times, and spend management
  • Identify and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance procurement processes, improve decision-making, and drive innovation
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies, optimize procurement workflows, and promote adoption of AI-enabled sourcing practices
  • Stay current on emerging procurement technologies and lead initiatives that advance sourcing capabilities and operational excellence
  • Ensure supplier compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand, align sourcing activities, and support business planning initiatives
  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation, supplier records, and sourcing data within procurement systems
