About The Position

The Strategic Program Manager is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that drive enterprise transformation, strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and business growth through the successful delivery of complex cross-functional programs. This role partners closely with business and technology leaders to translate strategic objectives into executable plans and measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate combines strong project leadership capabilities with business acumen, executive communication skills, and experience operating in fast-paced environments where priorities evolve rapidly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred.
  • 7+ years of project, program, or transformation leadership experience.
  • Mortgage origination and/or servicing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading enterprise initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and business functions.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership teams and governance processes.
  • PMP certification preferred but not required
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to operate independently with limited oversight.
  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective and professional relationships across the organization and with customers.
  • High learning agility with the ability to learn and integrate business variables and learn new systems and platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills & problem-solving abilities; solid decision-making abilities coupled with sound judgment.
  • Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong project management and time management capability.
  • Self-directed and comfortable working with ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • High degree of professional maturity, integrity, ability to maintain confidential data and information.
  • High degree of business acumen; strong technical aptitude.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex programs and initiatives across Origination, Servicing, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Commercial organizations.
  • Partner with business leaders to define scope, success metrics, operating models, and implementation roadmaps for strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and manage program plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinate multiple workstreams and ensure alignment across business and technology teams.
  • Facilitate executive meetings, governance forums, and decision-making sessions.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, status updates, business cases, and recommendations.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and organizational impacts and drive resolution strategies.
  • Support product launches, business readiness, operational readiness, and change management activities.
  • Drive accountability across stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of business outcomes.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.
