We are seeking a Strategic Program Manager (SPM) to manage customer-specific programs and ensure the successful implementation and execution of key initiatives. This role will focus on collaborating with the Sales Team and Product Management Team to create and execute sales enablement programs, analyze performance, and identify improvement opportunities. Requirements

  • 4-year college degree in a sales-related field.
  • 5-8+ years sales experience and/or sales program management
  • Demonstrated expertise in sourcing, account management, CRM.
  • Substantial product knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently deliver on monthly and quarterly sales and inventory metrics.
  • Represent and communicate Velocity's culture, values, and value proposition.
  • Provide immediate and reliable solutions to customer needs.
  • Maintain detailed records of all sales data, including contracts, quotations, rebates, and customer interactions, while annotating all customer touches in Velocity's ERP system.
  • Ensure strict program management of all VMI customer contracts utilizing Velocity's ERP system, when required.
  • Oversee open order reports daily to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Maintain appropriate and agreed inventory levels and manage aged inventory.
  • Manage customer escalations and involve Velocity personnel as required.
  • Identify and close shortage requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with specific suppliers.
