About The Position

This role is for a Strategic Product Manager who will join a highly visible global team focused on shaping product and portfolio strategy for the clarification portfolio, driving integrated business management and next-generation biopharmaceutical production technologies. The individual will own the mid- to long-term strategy in their area, guided by deep insights into global market dynamics, customer needs, and business opportunities. They will lead the development and execution of strategies that prioritize customer satisfaction and portfolio growth, translating market intelligence into actionable roadmaps, business cases, and investment decisions. The role involves managing cross-functional initiatives from product development through market introduction, ensuring alignment with senior leadership. Responsibilities include crafting compelling value propositions, market positioning, and launch collateral, collaborating with R&D, Strategy, Commercial, Pricing, and Controlling to optimize the portfolio lifecycle, defining go-to-market plans, monitoring competitor activity, market trends, and customer feedback, and interacting with customers. The role also requires preparing presentations for sponsors and senior management to secure buy-in for strategic investments. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, balancing multiple projects with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. This role involves limited domestic and international travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any Science, Engineering or Business discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management.
  • External applicants must be eligible to work in the US.
  • Proven track record in leading business strategies, product development, and go-to-market initiatives with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Strong analytical and digital capabilities, including the ability to build and interpret business and market data and to use digital tools efficiently.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across a complex international network of functions and stakeholders to drive decisions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with a high degree of independence.
  • Demonstrate an innovative, proactive mindset and strong business acumen.
  • Familiarity in BioProcessing applications relevant to biopharmaceutical processing.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree, MBA, or PhD.
  • 10+ years professional experience, preferably in Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical industry.
