In this vital role you will be able to serve as a key strategic partner to Global Medical Therapeutic Area (TA) leadership. This role drives the development and execution of therapeutic area strategies, supports operational excellence, and enables effective cross-functional collaboration to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  • Doctorate + 2 years relevant experience, OR Master’s + 4 years relevant experience, OR Bachelor’s + 6 years relevant experience, OR Associate’s + 10 years relevant experience, OR High school diploma/GED + 12 years relevant experience
  • Relevant experience includes scientific, operations, or business roles.

  • Advanced degree (MBA, PhD, PharmD, or similar)

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor and sounding board to the Therapeutic Area Head on key priorities, challenges, and decisions
  • Support development and execution of TA strategy, goals, and initiatives
  • Reinforce effective decision-making aligned with organizational frameworks
  • Lead and coordinate strategic planning activities, including goal setting and initiative tracking
  • Monitor progress against timelines and deliverables, ensuring accountability
  • Identify and drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Develop and execute communication plans for TA leadership
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and performance updates
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Facilitate engagement across senior leadership forums
  • Plan and facilitate meetings, including agenda development, materials, and action tracking
  • Manage daily operational tasks on behalf of TA leadership
  • Support annual and quarterly budget planning in collaboration with program management teams
  • Drive issue resolution, decision-making, and escalation as needed
  • Partner across functions to align on business priorities and execution
  • Influence without authority to drive outcomes across a matrixed organization
