About The Position

About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 05 The Team: The Client Solutions Group and Global Strategic Accounts is a high-paced and high-energy division of the S&P DJI Commercial Team. Their primary focus is influencing flows to SPDJI linked investment products by building relationships with asset managers and wealth managers. The team will travel with asset manager distribution teams, attend industry conferences and/or meet with centers of influence to drive commercial success. The teams will be working with SPDJI research (Index Investment Solutions, IIS) and product managers to understand and communicate partner priorities aligned with index licensing. They will use internal content which educates and informs advisors on how indexing works. Responsibilities and Impact: This role will assist the two teams in building and maintaining relationships with asset managers and wealth managers. You will gain an understanding of the distribution business model of our licensed partners, the index tracking product landscape and how advisors make investment portfolio decisions aligned to risk tolerance and to client goals. You will enable team success by performing analysis, scheduling meetings and calls in close working relationships with global territory representatives and contributing to projects. Support with client outreach alongside asset managers Collaborate on reporting and creating actionable intelligence for managers, key internal stakeholders, and clients. Learn Salesforce and enters meeting / call notes. Resolve advisor and Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) sales consultant queries for content, data, and analysis. Assist in planning, coordination with ETF sponsor partners and follow up for key client travel, presentations and meetings. Assist in creation, delivery and updates of internal strategy and external client presentation decks. Duration: June 1– August 7 Location : New York, New York (relocation assistance not available) Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates) S&P Global states that the anticipated hourly wage for this position is 25 USD – 30 USD. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

Requirements

  • Current student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or relevant academic program completed by May 2027
  • Demonstrates interest in math, equity, and fixed income market and investments
  • Manages own work with some supervision and strives for excellence.
  • Exceptional communications skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to collaborate exceptionally across teams and at all levels in an organization.
  • Ability to balance daily duties and larger scale projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Right to Work Requirements: This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with financial services or strategic/consultant type internship
  • Previous sales experience is a plus
