About The Position

One Acre Fund is seeking Strategic Partnerships Senior Associates / Managers to join their 10-person grant management team within the Business Development department. This team is responsible for stewarding high-value donor partnerships. The roles will manage key donor relationships, lead the coordination and monitoring of grant-funded activities, and contribute to the organization's growth by securing fundraising. The positions will report to leaders within the Global Business Development team and collaborate closely with program leaders. Successful candidates will gain deep understanding of One Acre Fund's approach to smallholder agriculture and contribute to thematic priorities such as conservation agriculture, engaging women and youth farmers, and smallholder insurance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in International Development, Public Policy, Business, Economics, or a related field.
5-10 years of professional experience in international development, strategic partnerships, grant management, consulting, or project management, depending on role level.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with a willingness to take initiative and be proactive.
Proven negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Fluency in English required.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a public-facing role and with managing external stakeholders.
Comfortable with data and working in Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

Drive thematic partnerships happening in the field, building capacity to deliver impact through conservation agriculture, women/youth engagement, and/or smallholder insurance.
Partner with program teams to set goals, design and run project activities, anticipate challenges, and ensure smooth progress.
Collaborate with program staff to tackle challenges, providing real-world insights to leadership and donors.
Spend time in the field with farmers and staff to understand work and ensure partnership activities are tailored to farmer needs.
Ensure One Acre Fund builds and maintains excellent relationships with partners.
Translate field impact into clear, compelling narratives and keep partners connected to progress.
Act as the main point of contact for funder communications, bridging the gap between donors and field teams.
Deliver clear, high-quality narrative and financial updates demonstrating partner support impact.
Manage grant administration, including accurate data tracking, invoices, and ensuring smooth grant operations.
