About The Position

This role focuses on diving into operational data to uncover insights, investigate trends, and answer critical business questions. The Strategic Operations Manager will own insight generation and follow-up across the organization, ensuring analysis translates into action. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining dashboards, leading complex operational projects from conception to completion, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives. The role involves designing and rolling out process improvements, facilitating meetings and strategic planning sessions, and presenting findings to stakeholders at all levels. A proactive approach to anticipating business needs through analysis and project planning is essential, with a partnership with the Director of Strategic Operations on multiple initiatives.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience combining analytics and project management, ideally at a high-growth startup, bank, or consulting firm
• Advanced skills in data manipulation and visualization using tools like Excel, Looker, and Tableau
• Proficient in SQL and familiar with modern BI tools such as Looker
• Proven track record leading cross-functional initiatives and managing multiple stakeholders
• Highly organized and can juggle competing priorities and complex timelines
• Endlessly curious and follow through analytically, using data and logic to explore solutions
• Communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Self-starter who meets deadlines and spots opportunities with limited oversight
• Thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and are comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change

Responsibilities

• Lead complex operational projects from conception through completion, with clear timelines, deliverables, and accountability
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple departments and stakeholders
• Turn analytical findings into structured improvement projects with defined outcomes
• Design and roll out process improvements and new workflows
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and strategic planning sessions
• Present findings and project updates to stakeholders at all levels
• Anticipate business needs with proactive analysis and project planning, partnering with the Director of Strategic Operations on multiple initiatives at once
