About The Position

Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Strategic Operations Associate to work directly with Executive Leadership and Operations leaders on the company's highest-priority growth, strategy, and operational initiatives. This role is ideal for candidates looking to transition from investment banking, private equity, consulting, or strategic finance into a high-impact operating role within a rapidly growing healthcare company. You'll support strategic decision-making through financial analysis, business planning, performance improvement initiatives, and cross-functional project leadership while gaining exposure to every aspect of the business.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1-3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development, Strategic Finance, FP&A, M&A, or a high-growth startup environment.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Experience creating executive-level presentations and communicating insights to senior stakeholders.
• Self-starter with strong project management and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) for communication, documentation, and data management, as well as, navigating the internet and web-based platforms.

• Healthcare experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Regional Vice Presidents and Operations leaders to drive financial, operational, and clinical performance.
• Develop financial models, forecasts, business cases, and executive presentations.
• Lead and support strategic projects across operations, growth, and business development.
• Analyze data and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
• Assist with strategic planning, board materials, and executive communications.
• Evaluate growth opportunities, partnerships, and operational improvement initiatives.
