Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years’ experience in Engineering, Facilities Management, Electrical or Mechanical, Medtronic’s, or related field, required.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in industrial or hands on maintenance environment, required.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or automated systems, required.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications in maintenance management or safety compliance are a plus.
  • Experience with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and Lean methodologies.
  • Business Acumen in Maintenance related activities and the Precious Metals Market

Responsibilities

  • Develop, Improve and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Align maintenance strategies with organizational objectives to improve asset performance and reduce costs.
  • Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support daily maintenance operations across the Seneca site for related production lines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
  • Monitor and develop KPIs and use data to drive maintenance decisions.
  • Prepare and manage maintenance budgets.
  • Optimize resource allocation and control costs.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and manage service agreements.
  • Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) or similar tools to aid in establishing a world class maintenance organization.
  • Contribute to CapEx planning for reliability improvement projects.
  • Maintain the mechanical integrity audit requirements related to internal and external audits for PSM/RMP, ISO, MIOSHA, cGMP and RC.
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs and best practices for mechanical equipment.
  • Drive root cause failure analysis or equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance the overall maintenance process and improve cost efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support other assignments by leadership.
