About The Position

NextEra Energy is seeking a talented Strategic Initiatives Senior Analyst for the Finance Solutions Organization. The successful candidate will support technology solutions and process improvements with a primary focus on NextEra’s Treasury Organization. This role involves analyzing business needs, supporting project execution, coordinating with stakeholders, and helping implement practical solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness. Employees in this role conduct complex operational analyses and lead medium to large project teams that support informed decision making within the business unit.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, IT or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance, business analysis, project coordination, process improvement, technology solutions, or a related areas.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on assigned deliverables.
Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and support change implementation.
Proficiency with technology platforms and tools, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams and work with stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and actionable next steps.
Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable taking ownership of assigned tasks and workstreams.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Eagerness to learn, develop new capabilities, and take on increasing responsibility over time.

Responsibilities

Support the identification, development, testing, and deployment of technology solutions that enhance the capabilities of the Treasury organization and align with business needs.
Analyze existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and support implementation of technology-enabled efficiencies across Treasury and the broader Finance organization.
Support projects and assigned workstreams from planning through implementation by maintaining project plans, tracking deliverables, coordinating meetings, documenting decisions, and following up on actions and risks.
Investigate business challenges, perform analysis to identify root causes, and support the development and implementation of effective solutions and corrective actions.
Contribute to strategic initiatives that advance the Treasury organization’s objectives and operational goals by completing analysis, coordinating activities, and supporting implementation.
Work with cross-functional partners, including the broader Finance Organization, IT, and Operations, to gather requirements, communicate updates, and support successful project outcomes.
Conducts analyses and prepares reports that provide operational and/or technical support to business operations.
Conducts quantitative and qualitative research to support small to medium special projects.
Assists with process design and modification for continuous business improvement.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
