About The Position

Avis Budget Group is seeking an execution-focused strategic initiatives professional to partner with the Chief of Staff and senior leadership on high-priority company initiatives. The role is intended for someone with experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or strategic transformation who can solve complex business challenges, develop strategic recommendations, and drive cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution. The position works with senior leaders to shape business priorities, advance organizational transformation, and turn strategic ideas into measurable results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–4 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or strategic transformation.
• Experience supporting or leading strategic initiatives, solving complex business problems, and managing cross-functional projects.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to develop recommendations, influence stakeholders, and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
• Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in AI, with practical experience using AI tools to improve workflows, solve business challenges, or drive efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Chief of Staff and senior leadership to execute high-impact strategic initiatives and advance company-wide priorities.
• Lead cross-functional projects from concept through execution, using strategic problem-solving and project management skills to drive results.
• Conduct business research, assess strategic opportunities, and develop data-driven recommendations for executive decision-making.
• Support strategic transformation initiatives to improve business processes, drive efficiencies, and create organizational impact.
• Develop business cases, presentations, and executive-level materials to communicate recommendations, findings, and project progress.
• Identify opportunities to use technology, including AI, to improve workflows, solve business challenges, and drive efficiencies.
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to align and successfully execute strategic initiatives.
• Support special projects and ad hoc requests from senior leadership.
