About The Position

The Strategic Growth Manager serves as an in-market strategic partner connecting the Unified Women’s Healthcare managed service organization (MSO), Market Leadership, and affiliated Care Centers. This role is dedicated to fostering practice growth, enhancing financial performance, engaging providers, guiding strategic planning, facilitating initiative adoption, expanding market reach, optimizing revenue, and achieving measurable improvements in practice performance. The manager utilizes practice performance analytics, market insights, reporting, and direct on-site engagement to pinpoint areas for enhancement. They collaborate with Care Center Managers, physicians, and cross-functional teams to implement growth strategies, maximize revenue, broaden service offerings, improve patient access, and strengthen operational effectiveness. A crucial element of this role involves maintaining a consistent performance dialogue through quarterly business reviews, schedule assessments, on-site meetings, and continuous communication with physicians and practice leaders to ensure alignment on strategic objectives, financial results, provider engagement, initiative implementation, and growth prospects. Success hinges on a blend of strategic foresight and practical execution, with a strong emphasis on cultivating trusting physician relationships, boosting provider engagement, and empowering Care Centers to attain sustainable growth and deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or higher preferred, requiring highly developed language and reasoning skills.
  • 4+ years experience in a health care organization with broad industry knowledge of patient care management, community-based physician Care Center management, managed care, practice operations, and practice financials.
  • Change management experience.
  • Effective communication skills
  • Highly developed organizational skill including the ability to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously to deliver on-time completion.
  • Excellent operational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong influence, stakeholder management, cross-functional leadership, and change management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with limited supervision is essential.
  • Ability to develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships with others internally and externally.
  • Financially astute – ensure reliable and consistent reporting and forecasting of budgets, creating and review of financial analysis/proformas and management of P&L statement.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a growth-focused strategic partner for Care Center Managers and physicians, strengthening physician relationships, provider engagement, and alignment around market growth priorities.
  • Leverage practice performance analytics, market insights, reporting, and on-site observations to identify, prioritize, and execute revenue optimization opportunities, including ancillary services, new service lines, payer mix strategies, patient access optimization, and scalable operational efficiencies.
  • Lead Care Center strategic planning, quarterly business reviews, and market expansion planning by partnering with Market and Functional leaders to translate enterprise growth strategies into measurable practice-level action plans.
  • Monitor patient and provider satisfaction, access metrics, and response times to identify barriers and coordinate action plans that improve the care experience and support operational and financial outcomes.
  • Drive adoption of enterprise growth initiatives by collaborating with Unified partners, including Revenue Cycle, CCRM, Virtual Health, MFM, UMAMS, Lucina, and other functional teams, to support consistent execution across Care Centers.
  • Track and communicate progress against NPSR goals, growth plan execution, provider alignment, initiative adoption, and other agreed-upon performance measures.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
