About The Position

AIUC is looking for someone to serve as the operational backbone of the company and own how the business runs. The role will bring core operations in-house, build the systems and financial controls needed for a fast-scaling company, and remove friction and bottlenecks to support growth.

The position spans operations, finance, recruiting, and people operations. It includes insourcing operational infrastructure and processes, centralizing spend and financial controls, supporting hiring and onboarding, owning board reporting and financial planning, and improving organizational efficiency by turning unstructured problems into durable systems.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, an emphasis on efficiency, and a relentless work ethic.
• Ability to reason from first principles, develop plans from a blank page, and execute them.
• Ability to move with urgency and communicate in a structured way.
• Enjoyment of enabling others and taking pride in seamless operations.

Nice To Haves

• Experience owning operations at a high-growth startup and firsthand knowledge of scaling challenges.
• Alternatively, experience as a trusted top-tier generalist in consulting, finance, or operations, with the ability to learn operations quickly.

Responsibilities

• Bring core operations and their infrastructure, systems, and processes in-house, including vendors, contractors, legal, and HR.
• Consolidate vendors and spending, establish financial controls, and provide visibility into company spending.
• Support recruiting and people operations, including hiring and onboarding as the team grows across functions.
• Own board reporting, financial planning, and the numbers leadership uses to run the company.
• Identify organizational inefficiencies and design solutions; turn unstructured problems into structured, durable systems.
