About The Position

Support an Intelligence Community agency with its commercial efforts to expand outreach and collaboration on commercial issues by providing secretariat support to strategic engagement programs run by the agency and facilitating participation in other external and internal working groups, conferences, community of practices, and meetings of interest. Provide pre-event support, including scheduling meetings, booking rooms, scheduling virtual meeting connections, and coordinating with briefers, as well as event facilitation and post-event support, including recording minutes and managing meeting recordings, as required. Develop and maintain guidance documentation and help to manage the lessons learned process for large events. Support the agency’s commercial strategic communication and recognition efforts.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting strategic engagement or outreach programs.
  • Experience supporting the planning and facilitation of large meetings and events such as multi-day conferences.
  • Experience with communication and coordination to effectively work with individuals at all levels.
  • Experience utilizing standard business application software for presentations, word processing, and spreadsheets to inter-relate and effectively present data.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience in communications, outreach, or event planning, or 8+ years of experience in communications, outreach, or event planning in lieu of a degree.

  • Experience building and maintaining Intelink websites and Intellipedia pages.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple organizations to address office-level requirements.
  • Experience briefing senior leadership on priority issues.
