Strategic Customer Success Manager

Blee
•$160,000 - $200,000

About The Position

Blee is hiring a Strategic Customer Success Manager to own long-term relationships with legal and marketing teams at large enterprise customers. The role manages accounts from go-live through renewal, driving adoption, expanding usage across teams and use cases, and ensuring the platform measurably reduces the time and risk involved in publishing content. The Customer Success Manager serves as the primary relationship owner after implementation, runs a structured customer cadence, reports measurable value, configures the platform to reflect changing customer needs, and monitors account health. The role partners with Account Executives on renewals and expansion, brings customer feedback to Blee’s product team, and helps build the company’s customer success playbook. Blee is an AI-first marketing content compliance platform backed by Y Combinator. The company has offices in San Francisco and New York, values in-person collaboration, and is open to remote work for the right candidate. The role requires approximately 10–20% travel to meet customers in person. Blee offers a competitive salary and equity package, benefits, and flexible time off with 15 mandatory days off. For US-based roles, applicants must be authorized to work for any employer; visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in customer success, account management, or another post-sale customer-facing role at an enterprise SaaS company.
  • Experience owning a portfolio of enterprise accounts, including retention and expansion outcomes.
  • A track record of running executive-level business reviews and driving adoption across multi-team organizations.
  • Technical fluency in product configuration, integrations, and usage analytics.
  • Willingness to travel to see customers in person, approximately 10–20% of the time.
  • Applicants for US-based roles must be authorized to work for any employer; Blee cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort working in a regulated or compliance-adjacent domain, such as financial services or life sciences.
  • Experience with financial services, life sciences, or a similar industry.

Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of enterprise accounts and serve as the primary relationship owner for legal and marketing stakeholders after implementation.
  • Drive adoption and expand platform usage by tracking active users, submission volume, and review coverage, and identifying teams, geographies, and use cases not yet using the platform.
  • Run weekly or biweekly working sessions, monthly check-ins, and quarterly business reviews tied to customer outcomes.
  • Build and present measurable value reports, including AI review accuracy, flag volume and resolution, reductions in manual review, and turnaround time.
  • Configure and refine rulesets, disclosure libraries, and review configurations as customer products, regulations, and campaign mix change.
  • Maintain account health scores, identify risks early, and run recovery plans when engagement or customer sentiment declines.
  • Partner with the Account Executive on renewals and expansion by surfacing signals, building the value case, and jointly managing commercial conversations.
  • Translate customer feedback into prioritized product input and close the loop when changes ship.
  • Take complete handoffs from Implementation at go-live and continue the customer roadmap without restarting the process.
  • Document steady-state patterns, QBR templates, health frameworks, and save motions to build the customer success playbook.
  • Travel to meet customers in person, approximately 10–20% of the time.
