About The Position

Provide strategic and organizational communications support to the client's senior leaders and workforce. In this role, you will work closely with the organization’s leadership team to reassess, modernize, and elevate internal and external communications. You will develop a comprehensive strategic communications plan that aligns messages, priorities, and engagement approaches across the organization. As the organization’s primary communications lead, you will independently develop and deliver all workforce messaging, leadership communications, newsletters, briefings, and talking points. You will also support the creation of additional communication products, including the Weekly Activity Report, and ensure all materials are clear, consistent, and aligned with leadership intent.

Requirements

  • Experience with drafting executive-level communication products, to include speeches, talking points, and workforce messages
  • Experience with written, visual, audio, or video content generation, to include drafting news and feature articles, fact sheets, visual ads, videos, podcast or other communication tactics for internal and external audiences
  • Experience assessing communications metrics and data to support senior decision makers at the executive level for strategic communications decisions
  • Experience developing strategic communication plans
  • Experience with electronic publishing and the publication production process
  • Experience with using the Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
  • Ability to use fonts and text formatting to craft engaging, appealing products such as newsletters, briefings, corporate emails, website posts, articles, communications plans, or messaging campaigns
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or communications and 18+ years of experience in a professional environment or 20+ years of experience in a professional environment in lieu of a degree
