About The Position

NESsT Peru is seeking a service provider or communications agency to deliver communication services, including media dissemination, content creation, and management of photos and videos. The goal is to enhance NESsT's brand recognition, specifically targeting the Peruvian audience. NESsT is an international non-profit organization focused on investing in enterprises that create quality jobs for underserved communities while sustaining the planet. In Peru, NESsT operates acceleration programs and an impact fund. This role will support the NESsT Communication Team to boost brand visibility and awareness, aiding in fundraising, partnership building, pipeline development, and showcasing portfolio impact. The consultant will also promote new material produced between June 2026 and March 2027.

Requirements

  • More than five (5) years of credited experience delivering communication services.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish from at least one team member.
  • Capability to deliver services remotely.
  • Availability to attend one hour-long monthly meeting via Microsoft Teams.
  • Availability for email communication (reading and replying).
  • Availability for contact with NESsT portfolio enterprises.
  • Ability to draft and translate content for social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook).
  • Ability to draft and translate content for website blogs and enterprise profiles.
  • Ability to draft and translate content for quarterly NESsT Peru newsletters.
  • Ability to contribute to impact reporting in Peru for annual reports.
  • Ability to identify speaking opportunities for the NESsT Peru team and portfolio enterprises.
  • Ability to support interviews, podcasts, and events.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
  • Ability to attend events and provide occasional support with preparation and follow-up.

Responsibilities

  • Generate awareness about NESsT's work and its portfolio through local media dissemination.
  • Coordinate the identification and management of videography and photography teams to produce portfolio/team videos.
  • Collect communication materials, including photos, quotes, and videos from events involving the NESsT Peru Team and portfolio.
  • Support the Peru Team and Global Communication Team in producing relevant content to promote events, including blogs, social media posts, and email templates.
  • Maintain a short-list of local vendors for support (photographers, videographers, print production).
  • Create compelling narrative frameworks showcasing NESsT's impact methodology and results in the Peruvian context.
  • Tailor messaging for the Peruvian audience while maintaining NESsT’s global brand voice.
  • Produce diverse formats (press releases, newsletters, thought leadership pieces, videos) for different audiences.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing portfolio enterprises to increase their engagement as NESsT ambassadors.
  • Recommend and build relationships with local and regional media outlets and partners.
  • Attend regular monthly meetings (one hour) via Microsoft Teams and maintain email communication.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key journalists, bloggers, and influencers in Peru covering relevant sectors.
  • Attend events where NESsT Peru is speaking/presenting, providing occasional support with preparation and follow-up.
