About The Position
Leads cross-functional sourcing initiatives, supplier strategies, and procurement projects. Drives cost, quality, delivery, and performance improvements across the supply chain. Partners with operations, engineering, and finance to align procurement with business goals. Ensures successful execution of projects from concept through production.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of purchasing/supply chain experience
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the country of the job posting location on a full-time basis.
Nice To Haves
- 3+ years of project management experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end purchasing projects including new product launches and supplier transitions
- Develop and manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Provide regular updates to leadership
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies
- Lead RFQ/RFP processes and negotiations
- Drive cost savings and supplier consolidation
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies
- Build and maintain supplier relationships
- Monitor supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery)
- Lead audits and corrective action plans
- Support supplier development initiatives
- Partner with engineering on design-for-cost
- Collaborate with operations on supply continuity
- Work with finance on cost tracking and ROI
- Coordinate with quality teams on supplier issues
- Track cost savings and financial impact
- Analyze market trends and supply risks
- Drive productivity improvements
