About The Position

Syensqo is seeking a Strategic Raw Material and Procurement Manager for Aroma Performance. This role is critical in procuring key raw materials for global operations, focusing on market intelligence, supplier strategy, and business transformation. The position manages a high-impact product portfolio supporting Syensqo’s commitment to sustainable growth within the Aroma Performance business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Chemistry, or Economics; MBA is a plus
  • 3+ years of strategic procurement experience, preferably in the chemicals or manufacturing sector
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to influence across stakeholders
  • Fluency in ERP systems (ideally SAP) and procurement best practices
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market signals to support smart, strategic decision-making

  • Global Market Insight: Stay ahead of emerging trends, supply chain dynamics, and cost movements—turning data into strategic advantage.
  • Strategic sourcing: Craft and deploy forward-thinking sourcing and category strategies aligned with business goals.

  • Contract leadership: Finalize and execute supplier contracts, SLAs, and compliance controls across the value chain.
