About The Position

Under the general direction of Strategy and Executive Leadership, the Strategic Business Analytics Advisor supports planning, development, and analytics to drive the growth and strategic direction of existing and new service lines. The position helps establish stabilization, standardization, and optimization of operational metrics. Responsibilities include gathering market information and supporting data-driven short- and long-term strategy through business plans, financial proformas, and inter-departmental coordination.

The advisor uses business intelligence software to gather, analyze, and interpret business data, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making. The role partners with leaders and staff at all levels to strengthen problem-solving capabilities and collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, optimize processes, and implement data-driven solutions that improve organizational performance for existing service lines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Health Administration, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in data analytics, decision support, strategy review, and clinical service line-related work.
• Thorough knowledge of operations, financial analysis, and organizational development.
• Strong communication, organization, negotiation, and leadership skills, including the ability to facilitate communication between diverse groups.
• Effective influence, presentation, advisory, and consultation skills.
• Well-developed project management, process redesign, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Visio, Project, Access, PowerPoint, and iGrafX process simulation software.
• Experience generating SlicerDicer reports with an EHR system.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree.
• Prior experience and knowledge of healthcare information technology functionality.
• Understanding of the unique culture of healthcare to support quick assimilation.
