About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Strategic Business Analyst who blends strong technical analytical capabilities with strategic business thinking. In this role, you will serve as a key partner to business leaders, transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive decision-making, improve performance, and shape long-term strategy. You will operate at the intersection of business and technology, leveraging advanced analytics, data modeling, and visualization while deeply understanding stakeholder needs. This role requires both hands-on technical expertise and the ability to influence outcomes through clear storytelling, strategic recommendations, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large relational databases.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and building interactive dashboards.
Experience with Python.
Knowledge of statistical analysis, data modeling, and forecasting techniques.
Familiarity with data platforms and tools (e.g., CRM systems, Salesforce ecosystem, data preparation tools).
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for analysis and presentation.
Ability to connect data insights to broader business strategy and objectives.
Experience identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and measuring business impact.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and derive meaningful conclusions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence decision-making.
Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and levels of the organization.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
Self-starter mindset with intellectual curiosity and a drive for continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related role.

Nice To Haves

Experience in financial services, asset management, or a related industry is a plus.
Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s) is preferred but not required.
FINRA Series 7 license is preferred or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Partner with business leaders to identify strategic opportunities, define problems, and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
Lead end-to-end analytics projects, from data exploration and modeling to insight generation and executive-level presentation.
Develop and maintain data models to identify trends, forecast performance, and uncover actionable insights that support business growth.
Design and automate dashboards, reports, and workflows that enable self-service analytics and ongoing performance monitoring.
Apply statistical techniques and analytical methods to evaluate business performance, customer behavior, and operational efficiency.
Translate complex data findings into clear, compelling narratives tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Champion a data-driven culture by promoting best practices in data governance, reporting, and decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, marketing, finance, IT) to integrate analytics into core business processes.
Evaluate existing processes and systems, recommending enhancements to improve data quality, accessibility, and efficiency.
Stay current with emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies to continuously enhance analytical capabilities.
