About The Position

We have an opportunity for a Strategic Alliance Leader to join our team. This role is responsible for managing assigned customer relationships and ensuring successful planning, resourcing, and execution across all CDS sites. You will lead initiatives to enhance customer experience, drive strategic objectives, and support the development of the Strategic Clients team. The position requires strong leadership, collaboration, and the ability to deliver results in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Science degree and/or apprenticeship and/or 12+ years of equivalent work experience.
  • Pharmaceutical experience required.
  • Management experience.
  • Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent‑sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Formal project management certification preferred.
  • Management qualification preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of the contract development, research, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of Catalent’s lines of business.
  • Thorough understanding of the drug development process, including regulatory filings.
  • Proven leadership, influencing, and collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to work under pressure, independently, and manage multiple tasks.
  • High sense of urgency, attention to detail, and results orientation.
  • Ability to work in a multinational team; fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) required.
  • Customer-focused with excellent client-facing skills and a desire to exceed expectations.
  • Process improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Act as key relationship manager for assigned customers, ensuring superior communication across Catalent sites.
  • Provide support to business development and client service teams in generating quotations.
  • Assist business development in creating and executing strategic account plans.
  • Support Catalent CDS Project Managers with regular reviews and global customer status updates.
  • Assist in generating project management resource plans to meet customer workload demands.
  • Serve as the customer escalation point, providing solutions and assurance for satisfactory resolution.
  • Support internal teams with business-related issues requiring escalation.
  • Prepare regular reports on activity, status, and client health for assigned customers.
  • Maintain knowledge of Catalent’s services, industry trends, and competitor strengths and weaknesses.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
