We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Strategic Accounts Relationship Manager to join our Investment Management North American Distribution team. This role is located in New York City, NY.

Requirements

  • BA or BS degree in business, economics or similar advanced degree.
  • Series 7 and 63 are required.
  • 4-6 years’ experience in the investment services industry, preferably with U.S. intermediary clients.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, attention to detail and ability to effectively follow-up and resolve issues.
  • Excellent skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Broad knowledge of the U.S. wealth management industry and securities markets.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities, but also comfortable working in a team environment and share assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic plan(s) for managing and growing assigned client relationships, with a focus on revenue growth and retention through expanding use of BNY Mellon investment capabilities.
  • Serve in a consultative role to their assigned clients, advising on the best way to achieve short and long term strategic objectives, this may include working with research sales teams at assigned client firms.
  • Assist more senior relationship manager(s) on the management of larger or more complex client relationships.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with internal partners including but not limited to our affiliated investment firms, field sales, product management, marketing, business intelligence, compliance and legal.
  • Contribute to and manage various special projects and activities that aid the greater Strategic Accounts team in achieving and communicating overall business objectives.
