About The Position

Staples Promotional Products, a division of Staples, is a national leader in the promotional products industry, helping customers build brand loyalty with customized merchandise solutions. The Strategic Account Project Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth within key strategic accounts by leading complex, high-impact initiatives from concept to execution. This role manages end-to-end project delivery, including product development, implementation, client-facing materials, and timelines, while ensuring alignment with client objectives and business goals.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, project management, or operations.
  • Excellent communication skills across in-person, virtual, and digital channels.
  • Strong project management, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Support Strategic Account Managers by driving complex, high-impact projects that fuel sales growth within key strategic accounts.
  • Manage end-to-end project execution including product development, implementation, client-facing materials, and timelines.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Special Order teams, and vendors to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
  • Lead planning and execution of Book & Go (BNG) initiatives, site sales, experiential opportunities, and limited-edition collections.
  • Develop project trackers, ensure timely billing, and proactively troubleshoot issues related to invoicing, delivery, and execution.
  • Travel as needed to support strategic sales efforts and client engagements.
