About The Position

Teradyne is seeking an experienced Global Account Manager with a unique blend of an Engineering background, Semiconductor and Datacenter industry experience. This role requires a strong desire to advocate for and support customers while influencing the company’s sales and product roadmap. The ideal candidate is seasoned at selling, has significant ATE or production test related experience, and excels in managing a customer team. This individual can work independently with little supervision and manage a customer team on a global basis, being seen as an expert by both the company and the customer.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in capital equipment sales or marketing within the Semiconductor, Test & Measurement, Datacenter or a related industry.
Bachelor’s in electrical engineering or physics preferred or related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven ability to drive long sales cycle design-ins.
Highly empathetic to customer needs.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.

MBA a plus.

Responsibilities

Advocate for and support the customer, while aligning to the objectives of Teradyne.
Manage and grow the business for established and new customers.
Create and implement sales strategy using strategic sales tools and processes.
Manage all activities related to maintaining existing and gaining new market share and meeting sales quota: identify and qualify opportunities, manage the competitive sales process, align Teradyne product roadmaps, forecast, quote and book orders.
Coordinate sales strategies worldwide for the assigned Customers.
Develop relationships at all levels within the Customers’ organizations and within Teradyne.
Must be willing to travel 25+%.
Must be able to carry auto liability or minimum insurance due to automotive responsibilities.
