Opportunity Overview: We are looking for engineers that epitomize technical and operational excellence. Full cycle product development experience from inception through maturity is important. Working simultaneously on projects in different phases is common; you are able to demonstrate strong troubleshooting and validation skills in addition to the understanding of mechanics of ongoing operational excellence and product support. You are responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. As a Hardware Test Engineer you will be responsible for defining and implementing manufacturing test strategy for new hardware devices. You will be a key member of the NPI team and will be the main interface with the internal operations team as well as our Contract Manufacturers (CM). In this role, you will: Work along with Design/Product Engineering to define the test strategy, implement and optimize test setup/processes at the Pilot line & CM including qualification of test fixtures, test equipment and test software Investigate and troubleshoot yield issues during prototype and production builds Deploy and provide training for Contract Manufacturing Team including developing test station procedures, preventative maintenance plans and troubleshooting guides to support onsite production We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.
