About The Position

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Strategic Account Manager (commercial). This position falls under our Cross Border line of business and is located in New York City. Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff, North America, the Strategic Account Manager will work closely with Corporate Dealing, Sales, Product, and other shared services functions throughout the organization to support client growth, portfolio performance, and the overall success of the team. Focusing on promoting client growth, retention, and effective management of strategic relationships. Overseeing client retention and attrition, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, and building robust multi-stakeholder relationships within an assigned portfolio. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong commercial acumen and communication abilities, coupled with a commitment to strengthening client partnerships and driving sustained business growth. This role demands proactive problem-solving, innovation, and collaboration across departments. Prior experience in FX risk management or cross-border payments is essential. The role involves direct engagement with customers, requiring a comprehensive understanding of both client needs and how they align with our product offerings.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of B2B experience managing and growing corporate relationships.
  • Extensive experience in FX hedging and cross-border payments.
  • Proven success working with complex sales and comfortable engaging with C-level executives.
  • Relationship builder: You create meaningful, collaborative relationships with both internal teams and external clients.
  • Communication: Exceptional skills to connect and converse confidently with people from diverse backgrounds and roles.
  • Problem solver: A strategic thinker who can quickly understand new products, ask the right questions, and distil complexity into actionable insights

Responsibilities

  • Cultivating strong relationships with key accounts to thoroughly understand their needs and deliver value-driven solutions through our comprehensive range of products and services.
  • Engaging regularly with clients, both in person and virtually, to assess business requirements, identify challenges, and uncover potential growth opportunities.
  • Providing detailed reports on client interactions and coordinate with Dealers to ensure all client requirements are effectively fulfilled.
  • Identifying and implement upselling and cross-selling strategies within designated accounts to optimize account potential and drive business expansion.
  • Exhibiting proactive problem-solving by introducing innovative solutions that resolve client challenges and improve the client experience.
  • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of client industries, market dynamics, and the alignment of our solutions with evolving client requirements.
  • Achieving revenue objectives by prioritizing input metrics that drive targeted business outcomes.
  • Developing and manage a robust pipeline within Salesforce and Power BI to accurately monitor progress and provide clear visibility of individual contributions.
  • Utilizing both internal and external data sources to generate actionable insights aimed at enhancing client results.
  • Presenting comprehensive reports on portfolio activities, performance indicators, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Applying sales expertise to mentor peers and contribute to the overall advancement of the commercial team’s capabilities.
  • Fostering relationships with internal stakeholders to share client insights and support the evolution of the product roadmap.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to compliance standards, risk management protocols, Anti-Money Laundering requirements, and all company policies.
  • Providing ad hoc assistance as needed.
