About The Position

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth, strengthening partnerships, and delivering exceptional value across national accounts with a primary focus on our key partner, Caterpillar. This role requires a hands-on, relationship-driven sales professional who can navigate complex organizations, understand customer pain points, and align solutions that make a measurable difference in their operations. You will serve as a trusted liaison between our company and high-profile customers and represent full solution offering. Your success will be measured not only by revenue growth but by your ability to cultivate long-term partnerships, meet key performance metrics, and execute customer strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 7+ years of strategic or national account sales experience, preferably in the heavy industrial sector.
  • Proven success managing National or Global accounts within complex organizations at an executive level.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong understanding of industrial operations, logistics, and floorcare solutions.
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM for account management, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong problem-solving abilities, able to ask the right questions and lead consultative discussions.
  • Strong Cross-Functional Collaborator: Comfortable working with operations, engineering, marketing, and executive team to deliver holistic solutions.
  • Self-Motivated & Self-Starter: Able to work independently without micromanagement, driven, and well organized.

  • Ability to Travel: Expect to travel up to 50% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Build and expand relationships within existing national accounts, engaging with multiple stakeholders to understand their operations, challenges, and strategic goals.
  • Identify new opportunities within established customers to drive additional revenue growth.
  • Leverage insights from internal KPIs, dashboards, and performance programs to identify areas of improvement and ensure customer success.
  • Act as the key liaison between the customer and internal teams, ensuring needs and pain points are clearly communicated and addressed.
  • Create customer growth and performance-based customer strategies that receive buy in from the customer on both process and outcomes.
  • Lead cross functional team across multiple plants to achieve goals, milestones, and provide industry leading support to our customers.
  • Prospect and develop new strategic account partnerships.
  • Build credibility quickly through thoughtful discovery, business acumen, and an understanding of the heavy, off-road industrial industry.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored proposals and solutions that meet customer needs and create long-term value.
  • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by delivering consistent, responsive service and follow-up.
  • Anticipate potential challenges and proactively resolve issues before they escalate.
  • Deepen partnerships through regular engagement, business reviews, and ongoing communication of performance outcomes and innovation opportunities.
