About The Position

The Strategic Account Manager will provide a top-level customer experience by continually improving sales and technical knowledge. This role involves working as part of a team to ensure a positive work environment and continually improve customer satisfaction. The primary focus is to develop sales with current and potential strategic accounts and the distribution network nationwide. Responsibilities include undertaking end-user sales presentations and demonstrations, providing first-level product setup and service support for the Industrial Scale and Tank & Hopper product lines, and educating and training the current and potential distribution network and independent sales representatives. The role also involves assisting the Sales Director America with sales reports, statistics, and presentations as required.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate
  • Logical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to use Windows operating systems
  • Broad knowledge of a discipline, such as weighing, metrology and/or engineering.
  • Technical ability with training and support skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience in a technical field
  • 6-12 months client facing experience
  • Experience with PLC’s and industrial communication
  • Familiarity with industrial software programming

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed Strategic Account sales target as outlined by Sales Director.
  • Plan for the achievement of individual sales targets in alignment with the strategies and policies of Minebea Intec.
  • Maintain technical and professional knowledge of Minebea Intec products by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
  • Maintain and expand customer base by educating and counseling sales partners.
  • Build and maintain rapport with key accounts.
  • Prospect within territory to cultivate new sales opportunities in conjunction with the sales team.
  • Set targets, forecast, monitor and track Strategic Account’s sales performance - annual, quarterly and monthly.
  • Host live demos via virtual showroom.
  • Host virtual and on-site Academy training sessions.
  • Travel to educate and update Partners on new and existing products. Travel expected >50% annually.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Maintain and update company CRM.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
  • Prepare 3 month rolling sales forecasts.
  • Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
  • Provide first level product set up and service support for the Industrial Scale and Tank & Hopper product lines.
  • Educate and train current and potential distribution network and independent sales reps. Organizations.
  • Assist Sales Director America, when required, with preparation of but not limited to, sales reports, statistics and presentations.
  • International travel.
  • Trade show setup.
  • Virtual Expo support – chat bot, phone and video conferencing.
