About The Position

Reporting to the Director of Business Development for Strategic Accounts, the Account Manager at Sightline Intelligence is instrumental in driving the direction and engagement of our strategic accounts. Focus on leading initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth, aligning with Sightline’s mission to deliver best-in-class imaging solutions. Foster a collaborative culture between account management, technical teams, and operations to ensure seamless service, product delivery, and client communication, reflecting our values and agility to react to evolving customer needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or a related field (or equivalent mix of education and experience).
  • Experience in account management, sales, and customer relationship management from the aerospace, manufacturing, software, or technology industries.
  • Proven experience learning new technologies, selling technical products, and collaborating with engineers to handle complex customer requests.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and present insights to drive strategic decisions.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. passport for business travel needs.

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring consistent communication and alignment with client needs.
  • Account Strategy: Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned to client goals, driving revenue growth and long-term partnerships.
  • Customer Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer within the company, collaborating with internal teams to influence priorities, address client needs, and uphold high-quality service.
  • Right Size the Solution: Identify the right technology to meet customer use cases; educate on the benefits of mission success using additional features when appropriate.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively manage and resolve client issues, escalating and seeking internal expertise when needed to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
  • Account Performance & Insights: Track account health, performance, and growth indicators, delivering insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Travel & Event Participation: Represent the company at trade shows and customer site visits to demonstrate our technology and build strong, in-person relationships. Role requires approximately 30% domestic and international travel.

Benefits

  • Compensations range from $120,000 - $150,000 annually, depending on experience. The estimated salary band will be adjusted accordingly based on the candidate’s relevant expertise. We are open to hiring candidates with varying levels of experience.
  • Compensation includes 11 paid holidays, PTO (20 days earned over the first year), health insurance, dental, vision, life/disability, 401K match, incentive plan, schedule flexibility, parental leave, and education reimbursement.
