About The Position

Accurate is looking for a Strategic Account Manager to join their Client Services team. This is a full-time, permanent position focused on building trusted partnerships, guiding clients through long-term IT strategy, and driving growth. The role involves deeply understanding client businesses, being proactive, and leveraging the full value of Accurate Networks. The Strategic Account Manager will collaborate with Service Delivery, Projects, Procurement, and Sales to ensure a seamless client experience and identify/convert opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in account management, client success, or a relationship-driven sales role, ideally in a B2B technology or MSP environment.
  • Ability to build trust quickly and naturally with clients at the executive and decision-maker level.
  • Ability to think and communicate strategically, translating business goals into technology decisions and presenting recommendations with confidence and clarity.
  • Disciplined and organized with CRM tools; pipeline is always current, notes are thorough, and follow-through is consistent.
  • Proactive by default; initiates touchpoints, surfaces risks early, and doesn’t wait for a client to report issues.
  • Collaborates well across teams and can work cross-functionally with Service Delivery, Projects, Procurement, and Sales without losing the thread of the client experience.
  • Strong understanding of IT services, solutions, and technology strategy, with enough depth to hold a credible, confident conversation with a client about their IT environment and roadmap.
  • Committed to personal growth; seeks coaching, applies feedback, and continuously looks to improve the quality of client conversations and strategic delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full relationship and success of every client in your portfolio by deeply understanding their business goals, challenges, and growth direction.
  • Initiate at least one meaningful touchpoint per client per month; lower-frequency clients receive a minimum of one formal touchpoint per quarter.
  • Position Accurate Networks as the strategic technology partner for every client. Know their business, not just their IT environment.
  • Deliver structured engagement through two tracks: Customer Journey clients (IT Roadmap, Critical Risk Reviews, QBRs, annual budget planning, project pipeline) and Managed Services clients (regular QBRs, Project Charter, IT planning, opportunity tracking).
  • Ensure every client has a documented IT direction, an active budget conversation, and clarity on how technology supports their goals.
  • Run QBRs as decision-focused sessions with documented decisions, commitments, and next steps; not status updates.
  • Own every opportunity in your portfolio (strategic projects, procurement, IMAC requests), logged and advanced in Autotask with accurate status, probability, and timeline.
  • Present recommendations with confidence, guide clients toward the right investments, and sustain an opportunity-to-project conversion rate of at least 80%.
  • Track project delivery from approval through completion; identify risks early and drive course correction before the client feels the impact.
  • Document every interaction, meeting, note, and opportunity completely and keep it current in Autotask.
  • Maintain zero overdue tickets and update client notes promptly.
  • Act as the client’s internal champion. Catch and resolve issues before they become complaints; serve as the primary liaison between the client and all internal teams.
  • Communicate client needs, opportunities, and risks proactively across Service Delivery, Projects, and Sales. Participate in project handoffs and delivery updates.
  • Surface client stories, testimonials, and event opportunities for marketing; bring current client insights and pipeline status to internal meetings.
