About The Position

Specified Technologies Inc. (STI) is seeking a Healthcare Strategic Account Manager responsible for managing and growing relationships with key clients in the healthcare sector. This role is crucial for fostering long-term partnerships, maximizing customer value, and identifying expansion opportunities across multiple accounts. Solution selling is a key aspect of this fully remote position, which requires frequent travel throughout the South-Central region. The ideal candidate will be based in the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) area, Houston, or San Antonio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Engineering is preferred, but other fields of study will be considered.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in sales with management experience preferred.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in outside sales.
  • Exposure and understanding of solution selling.
  • Excellent communication skills along with high comfort level of presenting to large groups.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned region several nights each month.
  • Confidence in public speaking before large groups in the pursuit of educating others on technical subject matter.
  • High capacity to create and manage a productive schedule without direct managerial oversight (self-initiation).
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience in identifying and executing growth opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Ability to build rapport with senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Management and leadership mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and use it to drive decision-making.
  • Ability to mentor and coach STI sales team members.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) or other account management software.
  • Must be comfortable visiting active construction sites and wearing required PPE.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and not require sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies for the assigned segment.
  • Lead the segment group to meet and exceed STI sales targets.
  • Establish sales objectives and monthly, quarterly, annual sales quotas.
  • Create and implement sales plans.
  • Negotiate and close sales with targeted segment accounts.
  • Monitor and analyze sales targets and other performance metrics.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to senior leadership on account status, progress toward goals, and growth opportunities.
  • Maintain, develop, and coach sales staff of the assigned sector group for performance success.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge.
  • Work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
