About The Position

Sayari is hiring a New York-based Strategic Account Director to grow its financial services business. This senior, relationship-led role owns a high-value U.S. commercial enterprise book, with a dual mandate to expand existing accounts and win new tier-1 logos. The role focuses on multiyear enterprise agreements, including deals of $2 million or more, and expanding adoption of Sayari’s Commercial World Model and agentic AI products across adjacent buying centers. It is a new-business and account-growth role, not a renewal or customer-success position. The Director owns the full sales cycle, generates at least 60% of pipeline through an established network, targeted outreach, and practitioner communities, and brings deep financial-services expertise to refine Sayari’s sales playbook and vertical strategy. The role works closely with forward-deployed engineers and analysts, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and BDRs to prove customer use cases, support deployment and adoption, and expand successful implementations. The Director also provides market intelligence to Product and Engineering and maintains a reliable forecast using structured sales methodologies. The ideal candidate is a financial-services insider with 15 or more years of experience in the blue-chip segment, a verifiable network, C-suite credibility, and deep knowledge of U.S. banking compliance, risk, and technology. They have closed multimillion-dollar, multiyear agreements, grown complex accounts and won new logos, and are comfortable navigating procurement, legal review, and multithreaded sales. Interest in or experience with advanced AI is expected, as is willingness to travel up to 25%, primarily within the United States. The listed pay range is $200,000–$230,000 USD. Sayari also describes an uncapped commission structure with accelerators for expansion revenue. The role is based in New York; the posting does not specify whether work is onsite, hybrid, or remote.

Requirements

  • 15 or more years of experience specifically within the financial-services blue-chip segment.
  • Established, live, and verifiable network within the U.S. financial-services sector, with C-suite-level context and credibility.
  • Deep expertise in banking compliance, risk, and technology, including fluency in U.S. requirements such as BSA/AML, OFAC sanctions compliance, and NYDFS requirements.
  • Track record of closing multimillion-dollar, multiyear agreements and generating significant net-new revenue from existing accounts and new logos; able to discuss specific examples in detail.
  • Executive presence and ability to explain technical data provenance and AI reasoning to non-technical senior stakeholders.
  • Expertise navigating complex procurement, legal review, and multithreaded account politics, including moving from one buyer into multiple adjacent buying centers.
  • Fluency in structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Miller Heimann.
  • Substantive understanding of financial-services practitioners’ regulatory, operational, and risk pressures.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and diagnostic approach to managing a book of business; ability to grow accounts, open new markets, and help build a vertical and sales motion.
  • Genuine interest in or experience with advanced AI systems and their application to financial services; comfortable explaining agentic AI capabilities and limitations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%, primarily within the United States.
