About The Position

The Strapper-Tarper ensures loads are strapped and tarped in accordance with safety regulations. The position straps and tarps loads on flatbed trailers and requires regular, timely attendance according to the shift scheduled by supervisory personnel. The role involves handling equipment such as chains, straps, tarps, and tie-downs, and requires knowledge of applicable DOT and Motor Carrier Safety regulations.

Requirements

• Knowledge of all applicable DOT Regulations and Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Pass the required drug/alcohol test.
• Ability to handle equipment including chains, straps, tarps, and tie-downs.

Responsibilities

• Strap loads to flatbed trailers.
• Tarp loads to flatbed trailers.
• Maintain timely and regular attendance according to the shift scheduled by supervisory personnel.
