About The Position

This role is responsible for operating and maintaining strapping equipment. The applicant will ensure the strapper is functioning correctly, manage strapping material, and maintain a clean work area. LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) training is required for working on the strapper. This position is for the 2nd shift.

Requirements

• Must be LOTO trained in order to work on strapper
• Provide government identification number for verification of previous Tyson employment history
• Applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times will not be accepted
• Rehires accepted after 180 days
• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Change roll of strapping out
• Make sure strapper is functioning properly
• Notify if it needs to be worked on by maintenance
• Make sure to cover strappers at the end of shift
• Keep area free of trash
