About The Position

A growing and innovative engineering firm is looking to add a Senior Stormwater Engineer for their Indianapolis team! This role involves managing staffing, mentoring junior staff, assisting with business development, and being responsible for the planning, design, and delivery of stormwater systems and facilities. This includes hydraulic analysis for stream crossings, transportation drainage, and water quality facility design. The engineer will also manage task-specific scope, schedule, and budget, and communicate with clients and public agencies.

Requirements

BS in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering
PE License
10+ years of experience as a hydrology and hydraulic design engineer
Knowledge of local, state, and federal stormwater management design standards
Experience with some or all of the following: Open Roads Designer SUDA, Civ3D SSA, CivilStorm, SRH-2D, HEC-RAS, HEC-RAS 2D, HY-8

Nice To Haves

MS in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering
Experience working with Departments of Transportation, local municipalities, and local, state and federal regulatory agencies
Experience working with Stormwater specific agencies
Familiarity with GIS
Stormwater master planning
