About The Position

The Stormwater Coordinator performs technical work in organizing, and participating in activities related to the Office’s Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permitting program, including inspection of construction activities for MS4 permit compliance, performing a wide variety of duties to monitor the physical, chemical and microbiological characteristics of surface water, and assisting in the management of grant programs and stormwater and petition improvement projects. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in construction site inspection and water sampling/testing, can handle relationships with public stakeholders, and can apply past experience to program and operational issues. The incumbent will be working with a varied team of water resource professionals, GIS specialists, Engineers, and the Chief Deputy Engineer to plan, implement and evaluate the Office’s MS4, Stormwater and Petition permitting program, as well as the Stormwater Testing Laboratory.

Requirements
