Requirements

  • Solid foundation in stormwater management principles and drainage infrastructure
  • In-depth knowledge of erosion and sediment control practices
  • Comprehensive understanding of applicable Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regulations and Texas Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (TPDES) MS4 permit requirements
  • Familiarity with EPA Clean Water Act standards
  • Ability to investigate illicit discharges and illegal dumping
  • Skill to respond effectively to residential drainage and stormwater complaints
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication skills
