About The Position

This is a full-time, benefited position at Xcel Energy's Golden, CO service center. The role supports the day-to-day operations of the warehouse by assisting Storekeepers. Key duties include loading and unloading Xcel and Contractor trucks, as well as supplier trucks, using a forklift. The position also involves maintaining housekeeping, preparing and putting away materials, loading materials for job requirements, and assisting with inventory. Accessing the database for information and performing other assigned duties are also part of the role. Working safely with others is a crucial aspect of this position.

Requirements

HS diploma or GED/Equivalent
Lifting requirement of 50 lbs
May be required to work in various storerooms
May be required to work various shifts as customer needs dictate
Basic computer knowledge

Nice To Haves

Warehousing and/or inventory management experience
Forklift operation and/or certification
SAP Experience
Self-motivated with the ability to self-manage
Travel required 10-15% of the time
Team oriented

Responsibilities

Loading and unloading of both Xcel and Contractor trucks utilizing a forklift.
Loading and unloading of supplier trucks both inside the warehouse and in the yard areas using a forklift.
Maintain housekeeping.
Assist in the preparation and put away of materials.
Loading of materials for various job requirements.
Assisting with the inventory of materials at the storeroom.
Accessing the database for information.
Other duties as assigned.
Working safely with others.
