Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Detailed knowledge of using SAP to manage the receiving process, storeroom inventory and cycle counting process, and disbursement process.
  • Ability to be qualified on operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Must be able to respond to off hour emergencies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write and speak in English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Physical requirements – Must be able to lift 40 lbs, climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending, stooping is required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct operation of stores personnel.
  • Oversee and direct operation of tool rooms and staging areas.
  • Oversee and direct operation of general maintenance activities such as carpenters, mechanics, and laborers within general maintenance group.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective receiving, shipping, dispensing, warehousing, and replenishment methods and procedures.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain procedures to improve storeroom processes, quality assurance, and efficiency.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain storeroom metrics and processes.
  • Ensure material availability, storeroom security, and employee safety.
  • Ensure the storeroom and general maintenance groups comply with and support the routine maintenance process, quality assurance process, and other applicable processes.
  • Ensures accuracy of all paperwork in all stores related processes.
  • Administer various industrial service contracts for the Taft Plant such as landscaping, janitorial services, exterminating, etc.
  • Maintain Taft general maintenance facilities and equipment, storeroom facilities and equipment, and stores inventory.
  • Maintain Taft vehicle and golf cart fleets, including any required inspections.
  • Participates and accepts responsibility for meeting plant and individual PSM goals and monthly spreadsheet responsibilities as required by HESP-610 Procedure.
  • Actively participates in plant’s Health, Environmental, Safety, and Security (HESS) programs to assure a safe and environmentally sound workplace.
  • Assumes accountability for meeting plant safety goals and various other requirements including training, work permits, critical items inspections, job observations, housekeeping, reporting hazards and issues, and working safely in job assignments.
  • Perform administrative functions for any direct reports.
  • Administer stores operating procedures and policies consistent with OCC policy.
  • Supports and fulfills the requirements of the plant’s ISO Quality System.
  • Completes any additional responsibilities assigned by Plant Management.
  • Manage diversity and EEO in accordance with company policies.
