About The Position

USC Hospitality, a core business unit of USC Auxiliary Services, is seeking a Storeroom Specialist to join their rapidly growing team. This role is responsible for maintaining the storeroom facility in line with the company's standards of excellence. The specialist will receive, process, and stock inventory as it arrives, ensuring all products match order logs and are properly recorded to maintain accurate records. Attention to detail is crucial for managing shipments and maintaining precise inventory control.

Requirements

Minimum Experience: 1 year.
Demonstrated customer service experience.
Experience working in a fast-paced working environment.
Ability to effectively communicate in English.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Valid CA driver's license required.
Position will participate in the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Pull Notice System.
A copy of DMV record will be required as a final condition of employment.
Ability to drive a truck.
Minimum Education: High School not required (or Less than high school).

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Two years inventory control/maintenance expertise.

Responsibilities

Provide customer services to faculty, staff, students and guests.
Receive product/merchandise.
Ensure all received goods meet standards and health code requirements.
Reconcile invoices with order sheets.
Stock all inventory in designated areas.
Assist in identifying product needs.
Place product orders.
Maintain inventories.
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts.
Record end-of-month inventory.
Maintain organization of storage areas.
Maintain cleanliness of facilities.
Adhere to department service standards and to all health, safety and University rules and regulations.
Attend and participate in meetings as required.
Report to station, ready to work at the time work assignment is scheduled to begin.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
