Key responsibilities include receiving, unloading, and processing deliveries, refusing damaged or incorrect items, troubleshooting vendor issues, and overseeing returns. Adherence to food safety and handling policies, as well as monitoring PAR levels for food items, is crucial. The role also requires reporting accidents, completing safety training, following company policies, maintaining a professional appearance, and protecting company assets. Communication skills, both written and verbal, are important, as is the ability to work collaboratively with team members and comply with quality assurance standards. The position involves visual inspection of information and equipment, computer use, and physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, carrying, and moving objects up to 50 pounds. It may also involve working in narrow, confined, or elevated spaces and on sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, with a need for reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
