About The Position

Harvest Hill was recently acquired by Castillo Hermanos, a family-owned company and a leader in the Central American and Caribbean consumer market. The acquisition incorporates leading, scalable and complementary brands into the Castillo Hermanos beverage portfolio, giving it immediate access to main US retail outlets. The deal also facilitates the distribution of Castillo Hermanos’s brands, meeting nostalgia-driven demand from US Hispanic consumers.
Harvest Hill is headquartered in Stamford, CT with a nationwide network of manufacturing and distribution facilities, employing over 1,000 employees in the United States.
This position will be located onsite 5 days a week in Verona, PA.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to attend all job-related training classes to increase job knowledge and improve job performance.
• Ability to read and understand standard operating procedures and customer specifications.
• Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts using calculator.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Working knowledge of a modern computer system.
• Ability to type at a reasonable speed.
• Familiarity with CMMS and work order systems.

Nice To Haves

• Basic understand of equipment and parts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment by meeting company policies and OSHA regulations.
• Order and inventory supplies for the maintenance, blow mold and production departments.
• Manage plant maintenance (PM) work orders in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with coworkers, vendors, etc.
• Ability to identify trends, abnormalities, and inefficiencies through accurate record keeping and analysis.
• Must have a basic understand of equipment and parts.
• Maintain inventory in multiple storerooms.
• Follow all safety, food safety, & GMP rules and regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
