Storeroom Clerk - $20/hr

About The Position
We’re looking for motivated, engaged people to help make everyone’s journeys better. A Storeroom Clerk receives and checks incoming shipments, labels products, follows FIFO (First-In, First-Out), puts away products as per locations, fills requisitions, and counts products for accurate inventory.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Up to one-year experience preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to read and write to complete required forms
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
- Work assigned schedule which may vary and could include weekends and holidays
- Works overtime when required
- Arrives to work on-time
- Must comply with company policies
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds frequently during shift

Responsibilities
- Performs receiving duties for incoming inventory from vendors
- Inspects incoming product to quality standards and ensure freshness and shelf life
- Moves product (use moving equipment – forklift, pallet jack), stocks, follows FIFO for freezer, cold room and dry goods
- Maintains inventory warehouse locations in a clean and organized manner
- Conducts inventory counts and count sheets
- Pulls production requisitions (MRP or ER) as needed
- Follows directions
- Works as a member of a team
- Completes paperwork and related administrative duties
- Handles pork, poultry, meat and fish products
- Must be able to handle liquor/alcoholic beverages
- Must be able to use moving equipment
