About The Position

Responsible for receiving all incoming mail, freight and processing it to the correct location in a timely manner. The position requires one eight hour shift 5 days per week. The employee is subject to call back and overtime as required by the hospital.

Requirements

• Completion of 12th Grade (high school) or equivalent outside study.
• Knowledge of hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
• Ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes all general medical supplies and equipment in a timely manner.
• Receives departmental requisitions and fills from stock and delivers in a timely manner.
• Processes and delivers all incoming and outgoing mail and freight.
• Stocks, stores and transports supplies and equipment in the main building and outside whose.
• Delivers supplies to areas around the hospital by a truck as assigned.
• Maintains a clean, orderly and safe environment in the storeroom.
• Maintains a positive work environment and promotes a team approach.
• Performs related responsibilities as required or directed.
