Storeroom Clerk
About The Position
Industrial equipment repair and service company is seeking an individual to join our team as a Storeroom Clerk for K+S Services at the Owens Corning facility in Waxahachie, TX. This onsite individual will have hands on responsibility to act as the primary liaison between our company and the customer on all day-to-day operations. The Storeroom Clerk will be responsible for communication with all levels of management within the customers manufacturing facility. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has an inquisitive, can-do attitude, good social skills and attention to detail. Requirements
- Must be able to read and write in English.
- Must be able to pass drug test and background check.
- Previous experience working with ERP systems preferably SAP.
- Must be able to operate a forklift
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working in and Industrial Storeroom is a plus
Responsibilities
- Receive all packages at the plant and ensure their timely delivery to appropriate parties
- Ensure items are received in the proper location
- Distribute all parcels coming in from carriers
- Assist in processing repairs to be shipped out
- Monitor VMI for maintenance bins and vending machines with different suppliers
- All team members may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time.
