About The Position

This position assists the Purchasing Supervisor in the daily operation of the storeroom. Key responsibilities include receiving and organizing products, verifying orders against purchase orders, and rotating perishable stock to ensure freshness. The role also involves issuing and delivering products to departments, checking requisitions for accuracy, and conducting inventories of food, beverage, and general merchandise items.

Requirements

  • Assists the Purchasing Supervisor in the daily operation of the storeroom.
  • Receives and places products in their assigned storeroom location in an organized manner.
  • Checks items received against purchase orders to verify accuracy of the order.
  • Rotates perishable stock so that all food items are fresh.
  • Issues and delivers products from the Storeroom to Departments.
  • Check each item on the requisitions which may involve weighing, counting, verifying each item and checking them against specifications to verify accuracy and approvals for the order.
  • Conducts inventories as directed.
  • Ensure all food, beverage and general merchandise items are listed on inventory lists.
  • Perform any general tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards.
