About The Position

The role of Storeroom Attendant is to maintain the storeroom by properly storing all food goods in pre-designated areas with proper rotation. This includes maintaining cleanliness of storerooms daily, unpacking all goods for proper distribution, stocking the kitchen with food goods, and rotating in-process stock. The position also requires maintaining a safe work environment and reporting or correcting any unsafe acts or conditions. The attendant is expected to create 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Radisson experience through genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations. This involves giving personal attention, taking personal responsibility, and using teamwork when providing guest service. Resolving guest problems with empathy and follow-through is also a key aspect of the role, as is providing ongoing genuine hospitality and teamwork. The attendant must also assume responsibility to notice when a guest is not satisfied and use their best judgment regarding the 100% Guest Satisfaction Guarantee. Other duties as required to provide the service brand behavior will also be performed.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year management experience in full service stewarding operations
  • 3 years experience in hotel food and beverage
  • High school diploma required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork
  • Able to resolve conflicts guests, supervisor and employee
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Basic computer skills in MS Office, reservation systems, and point of sales systems

  • bachelor’s degree in hospitality preferred
