About The Position

This is an entry-level, hourly position that will report to the Warehouse Manager. The primary function is to distribute merchandise to customers. This role involves loading and securing customer merchandise, verifying invoices, and ensuring customers receive their purchased items. Additionally, team members are responsible for being vigilant about security risks, including shoplifting and theft, and reporting any potential issues to management or security personnel. These duties are performed throughout the employee's entire shift in addition to other assigned tasks.

Requirements

Graduation from high school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of two years prior experience in warehouse operations.
Ability to read English sufficiently to read invoices, repair orders, and similar written materials.
Basic English language writing skills.
Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction.
Ability to grasp and lift or otherwise move goods weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted or up to 150 pounds with assistance.
Ability to stand and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions for a seven and one-half hour shift, with two fifteen-minute breaks and one-half hour meal break.

Nice To Haves

Fluency in a language other than English may be preferred depending on the specific location's needs.

Responsibilities

Distribute merchandise to customers after verification by a manager or supervisor.
Load and secure customer merchandise in their vehicles, ensuring it is safely tied down.
Obtain customer signature on the invoice copy to acknowledge receipt of merchandise.
Return the signed customer invoice to the pickup counter area.
Detect common signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks.
Promptly communicate potential security problems to store management or store security.
